Pure water Type II
ASTM defines Type 2 water as having a resistivity of >1 MΩ-cm, a conductivity of <1 µS/cm and <50 ppb of TOCs. A lower grade compared to type 1 water. Type 2 pure water is used in a wide variety of analytical methods such as HPLC, AAS, reagent preparation and cell culture application. As well as ASTM Stakpure units meet ISO 3696 and CLRW (CLSI) standards.
